There has been a huge increase in robberies on the side of the highways all over lately. By robberies we mean folks who are still trying to afford putting gas in their cars. After successfully making it a full year without crying (not even during the final scene of Dead Poet’s Society) the last time a gas station was visited, real, legitimate tears started rolling down my face. This is no way to live friends! Keep your money in your pocket and your tears in your face because Friday is National Bike to Work Day and Austin has full city and local vendor support when it comes to the effort to rebel against the tank. There’s a full map provided by the city of Austin of locations that are offering free food, drinks, and goodies for those who are participating this Friday.
