Pete Yorn with Ben Kweller at Stubb’s

Attention all people that love music and/or fun (aka all of you): Pete Yorn is coming to grace the stage at Stubb’s next Saturday with his flowing locks and sexy vocal stylings. And to make things better, Ben Kweller is playing too! I don’t know if I can handle this much awesome hair in one night…

For ten years Pete Yorn has been writing some pretty amazing music. In 2001, his debut album Musicforthemorningafter was internationally successful and received only the best of reviews. Since then his fan base and popularity has grown impressively and he has become massively successful as an artist, sharing the stage with other huge names like R.E.M., Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, and more. Yorn brags musical inventory that has progressed from intricate and poetic to rugged and soaring. With music like that, and hair like that, Pete Yorn is kind of a must see live in concert.

Hitting up the stage as well is Austin favorite, Ben Kweller. If you live here, you’ve probably already seen him live, but know that his concerts never get old. If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing him live, the time has come. Ben Kweller is a truly engaging songwriter. When you watch him perform, it’s never just an exhibit of his experiences and emotions, but rather an expectation of the audience to participate and engage in the stories and melodies. And it’s a damn good time.

As per usual, we’ve got the hook up for y’all. Just head to the event listing and click “I Like It” for the chance to win a pair of free tickets!

So here we go: Next Saturday, April 16th, be at Stubb’s with tickets in hand for some mind blowing, soul filling, singer-songwriting jams from two of the most talented dudes there have ever been.
