International Sushi Day is June 18th!

There are almost as many different types of sushi as there are colors in the entire spectrum. Even if you just narrow it down to sushi rolls, there’s Spider, Spicy Tuna, New York, Alaskan, Philadelphia, California, Boston, Texas, Hawaiian, Rainbow, Vegetable, Dragon, Snake and thousands of other varieties. With such a wide array of options it would be impossible to try them all, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try, and there is no better time to give it a shot than International Sushi Day!

First celebrated in 2009, International Sushi Day is an informal holiday that is celebrated each year on June 18. The day was created for one simple reason – to encourage people around the world to eat more sushi. So get out there this Saturday, June 18, and celebrate International Sushi Day by dining at your favorite sushi joint or discovering a new one. If you’re not sure where to get your sushi fix, Do512 has a constantly updated list of the best Austin Sushi Restaurants. We hope you’ll find it helpful!
