Austin-native Seth Walker is bringing his band back to Texas next weekend for some infectious home-style blues that you’ll just want to get up and groove to.
Since his debut in 1997, Seth and his band have succeeded in gaining a following all over the Southern U.S. and have even managed to build up quite the resume – including opening for a bunch of blues greats such as Ray Charles, B.B. King and Jimmy Vaughn.
Although primarily thrown into the Blues category, it seems the band has ventured into new territory on recent albums – including heavy guitar influenced Rock & Roll and even hints of R&B and Doo-Wop that really let Seth’s voice shine through. The band’s latest release, Leap of Faith, has even drawn comparisons to greats such as Huey Lewis and Sam Cooke.
Catch Seth Walker & Co. performing at Momo’s, this Saturday – June 25th. Show starts at 8:00 pm.
