Lineup and Tickets for UTOPiAfest

UTOPiAfest, which we told you about previously, recently released the full artist lineup for the 3rd annual music and arts festival, taking place in Utopia, Texas, October 14-15, 2011. On the bill is indie-folk superstar Keller Williams, acclaimed Australian live electronic band Art vs. Science, genre-defying Blitzen Trapper, Latin mixologists Grupo Fantasma, and Dawes, who performed on The Late Show with David Letterman earlier this week. Also scheduled are Japanese punk rockers Peelander-Z; Sub-Pop’s Avi Buffalo, Cornmeal, The Giving Tree Band, and Austin favorites the Black and White Years, Suzanna Choffel, Digital Antique, and the Wheeler Brothers.

In addition to a single stage, allowing every member of the audience to experience full sets by each band, UTOPiAfest will host a second stage, where talented audience members and special-guest bands will perform during breaks on the main stage. Other activities include morning yoga, a disc golf course, unique art displays, and food and craft vendors.

Weekend passes are on sale now at a discounted price of $69. After July 6, the price for the two-day pass will go up to $99. Special offers include a “buy five, get one free” bonus, and a “VIP Weekend Pass” ($139) that includes reserved parking, preferred campsite locations, complimentary food and beverages, VIP restrooms, and a UTOPiAfest t-shirt. Discounted passes for youths (12-18), seniors (65-plus), veterans, and current U.S. service personnel (including Red Cross and Peace Corps volunteers) are $49 through July 6.

Tickets are selling FAST, and only 1,500 weekend passes will be sold, so get yours today. All prices include parking and on-site camping, with no extra charge for RVs, buses, and other large vehicles. Single day tickets are not available.
