UTOPiAfest, which we told you about previously, recently released the full artist lineup for the 3rd annual music and arts festival, taking place in Utopia, Texas, October 14-15, 2011. On the bill is indie-folk superstar Keller Williams, acclaimed Australian live electronic band Art vs. Science, genre-defying Blitzen Trapper, Latin mixologists Grupo Fantasma, and Dawes, who performed on The Late Show with David Letterman earlier this week. Also scheduled are Japanese punk rockers Peelander-Z; Sub-Pop’s Avi Buffalo, Cornmeal, The Giving Tree Band, and Austin favorites the Black and White Years, Suzanna Choffel, Digital Antique, and the Wheeler Brothers.
In addition to a single stage, allowing every member of the audience to experience full sets by each band, UTOPiAfest will host a second stage, where talented audience members and special-guest bands will perform during breaks on the main stage. Other activities include morning yoga, a disc golf course, unique art displays, and food and craft vendors.
