Do512 Presents: Opal Divine’s 3rd Annual Drink Pink Campaign Benefiting BCRC

Breast cancer is no joke.  And neither is surviving it.  Both my mom and grandmother are survivors, and let me tell you, it’s a painful and strenuous experience for everyone involved.  Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas (BCRC) is a grassroots nonprofit formed by survivors of breast cancer who provide information, education and support for anyone diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as family and friends who want to learn more about it.

Want to help raise money to support BCRC?  Well, there’s a campaign going on right now to do just that.  Do512 is proudly joining forces with Opal Divine’s Freehouse for their 3rd annual Drink Pink Campaign, benefitting BCRC next Thursday, August 18th.  Opal Divine’s Freehouse is a restaurant and bar downtown, owned by Susan Parker was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago.  Parker and her husband were inspired to put on this event after finding help from BCRC.

How do you help?  Just go to Opal Divine’s Freehouse next Thursday (8/18) and order a delicious glass of their Prickly Pear Rita, and they’re donate $.50 of each order to BCRC!  The Prickly Pear Margarita mix is made with fresh squeezed lime juice, organic agave nectar, prickly pear puree, and water!  So good!   You can also purchase a Drink Pink T-Shirt (if you want to look AND feel sexy…)

Live music will be provided by Austin’s very own Lip Service, from 8-10.

Come drink and support Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas!
