Don’t Pass on Pepper: Reggae-rock Band Back with New EP

Though you may not be able to remember all of the words to their hit singles such as, “No Control” or “Your Face,” it’s hard to forget the unique album cover art for releases like No Shame and Kona Town.

Now you’ll have one more cover to add to your mental collection. Pepper fans – the wait it over. Though it’s been a couple of years since we last heard from everyone’s favorite Hawaiian reggae-rock band, Pepper is back with a new EP, Stitches, scheduled to drop on October 12. They’ve spent the better half of 2010 writing the EP, and of course, touring alongside their buddy bands 311 and the Offspring.

In fact, Pepper is a band that never stops touring. They’ve played huge festivals like Van’s Warped Tour (countless times) and Lollapalooza, and shared the stage with legends such as The Wailers, and Snoop Dogg.

As part of their Last Calls and Liabilities Tour, they will be rockin’ Stubb’s this Thursday, September 29 alongside The Expendables and the newest addition to LAW Records, Ballyhoo!. In case you didn’t know, LAW Records is the label that Pepper founded, and has sold over half a million records on. Not too shabby.

And because we think Pepper would agree that there’s No Shame in going to shows for free, we have three pairs of tickets to give away. Enter to win by clicking “I Like It” here.
