It’s time for the tenth annual Oktoberfest at North By Northwest Restaurant and Brewery this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 22-23! Ladies, get that hair braided and get that German dirndl you have in the back of your closet (you know you have it, don’t deny it) and gents, get that beer belly ready for brats, beer and music! “Like” the event from our site for a chance to win a 15.5 gallon keg of your favorite North By Northwest brew.
Head chef George Powell will be cooking up genuine German brats, homemade sauerkraut, fresh red cabbage, pretzels and German cobblers. And what would a German feast be without beer? Well, it wouldn’t really be a German feast now would it? Don’t worry, brew master Don Thompson and head brewer Kevin Roark will be serving up something special just for the occasion.
While you’re stuffing your face and guzzling special brews, your kids can enjoy face painting, inflatable fun and German oompa bands. There will also be a bratwurst eating contest, artisan booths and even a wiener dog costume contest!
North By Northwest encourages everyone to donate $2 upon entering, so bring the fam out and feel good about it because this year’s fest will be benefiting the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of TX, Therapy Pet Pals of Texas and Central TX Dachshund Rescue. See ya there!
